Towering to about 4½', this tough, mildew-resistant perennial produces masses of striking daisylike blooms. Each golden yellow double flower is centred with a bold red eye for striking contrast against its glossy olive-green foliage. Deep roots confer excellent drought tolerance and cold hardiness, while the well-branched, upright habit suits the middle or back of borders. The long-lasting flowers attract butterflies, bees and hummingbirds, perform beautifully when cut.
