This compact, upright perennial typically grows 50" tall. Single to double, daisylike flowers, 2–3" in diameter, have golden-yellow rays and deep orange centre disks. Stiff stems seldom need staking and make it a very good cut-flower addition. Noted for its excellent performance in poor soil—even dry and damp soils.
