When you plant these red, white and blue gladiolus together, your garden can proclaim your love of country whether you hail from the Netherlands or the United States. Use the bulbs anywhere they will get at least some sun, whether in back of a border or in a cut-flower garden. Butterflies and other pollinators are drawn to the showy, 3–4" wide florets, which open along one side of the robust stems. Glads produce the largest and most colourful flowers when planted where they receive full sun.
