The Barbados Amaryllis brings a bold splash of colour indoors when little else is in bloom. Its velvety deep red trumpets are marked by contrasting crisp white stars, unfurling up to 7" across on sturdy stems that reach 18–24 inches tall. Ideal for winter forcing, it makes a festive houseplant that typically flowers 6–8 weeks after potting.  After the blooms fade, you can store the bulbs in a cool, dry spot to re-force later, or wait until spring to plant them outdoors. The dramatic blooms add flair to bouquets and fresh-cut arrangements.
